This ebike can go anywhere with absolutely no struggle at all. Did 30 miles and still had 2 bars of battery after mix of PAS 3 and using unlocked throttle.

Hills are no problem as it just wants to pull and pull.

Build quality is great and assembly took an hour following the instructions and YouTube videos. Even after thrashing it on very bumpy canal paths everything is still tight, true and no squeaks/creaks.

Riding position is extremely comfortable as there is plenty of adjustment in the seat post and handle. Paired with the suspension and big chunky tires I barely felt any bumps, especially the ones that would nearly throw me off my Raleigh.

Brakes have good stopping power once they were bedded in, didn't feel like I had to wrestle them, a light squeeze would begin to slow me down.

Display is bright and easy to read with easy to access settings.

Only 3 minor gripes. 1.) PAS 4 and 5 are just too much. 3 is good but I feel between 2 and 3 would perfect but I can't set it above 0-5 while in the manual it shows there's 0-7 and 0-9 options.

2.) Sometimes when I stop pedaling the PAS/motor is still engaged for a second after making for some stop or tight causes to be a bit of a butt clencher

3.) Wish the battery was bigger so I could be out on it longer

Gripe 2 could probably be sorted via adjustments to settings but I feel like I'll just be able to get used to it without the worry of messing some up in the settings.

Overall it is a fantastic bike with no major complaints.

Have run my new bike for 150 miles. (about 210km) and it is a delight. Really smooth power that works with you as you pedal. It came with a throttle that I have removed, power cuts in gently as soon as you start to move. Provided saddle is comfortable on a smooth road but not up to bouncy cycle paths and pot holes. Fitted a much more padded saddle. Much better. The locking bar grips are nice and whole bike has no rattles. I love the single speed, it is a more gentle riding style, the motor helps upto speed and then either pedal or freewheel beyond 15mph (25kmph). Pedal cadence is about right. Forget the indicators, you can not tell when they are on or off while riding, they needs buzzer or flashing indicator. If you are in the UK and get the 2 pin mains adapter for the charger, it is truly dreadful. Check your old electric items the charger uses a standard cable that just plugs in. (Old printer PS2 etc) I bought a new cable online for £6.
Build and paint quality is very good, no chipping of the paint. The 2inch Kendal tyres are an excellent choice.

Got the L20 and its a beast. Gets up pretty steep hils on pedal assist 5 with no issue and minimum effort to pedal. Very comfortable and solid bike, love it.

So, I'm 60 and dealing with arthritis. Wasn't sure how I'd get on with an e-bike, but this EC-1's a real treat. Battery's lasting well - I do my weekly shop and a bit of a wander around town, still got juice left. Handy, that. The hills 'round here in Ireland can be tough, but the EC-1's a champ. Got 3 settings for power assist, starts gentle and goes up strong. Eases up the strain on my knees, especially going uphill. Now, it's a light bike, easy to handle, which I'm thankful for. And it looks right smart too – sleek, no messy welds, cables all tucked away nice and neat. Been stopped a few times by folks asking about it. Been using it a good few weeks. Solid and reliable, it is. Makes getting out and about more of a joy, really. Should've gotten one of these years ago, I reckon.
